Pure Cat Initiative

Tigerlily Foundation’s Pure Cat Initiative was launched in honor of Catherine Odderstol, a sassy yogi, who danced through life, spread light and joy with everyone she met, and who left us the gift of her eternal gypsy soul.  Cat was dedicated to helping others have a mind, body, spirit approach to health and wellness.  Cat has inspired us to honor her SPIRIT legacy, by offering patients, caregivers and loved ones access to programs that inspire them to light up life, focus on faith not fear, and as she loved to say, “Let Love be Your Frequency”.

We are excited to offer you this additional support. Sending love to all.

Classes:

Mondays @ 1pm

Pilates Essential with Samantha Clayton

Restorative in nature, this class will detail the fundamentals of the pilates practice. We begin with the pelvis and build slowly, working from the inside out. The core muscles: low abdomen, low back and pelvic floor will all be addressed. We will focus on breath work, gently opening and expanding the rib cage. Several range of motion exercises will be explored – especially where the arms and shoulders are concerned. Modifications will be plenty. Participants will leave class feeling lengthened and freer in their joints.

Join Samantha Mondays at 1 pm EST!

Yoga with Valencia Robinson

Welcome! I’m Valencia Robinson, 26-year veteran teacher of English and history, breast cancer survivor, and mom of 4.  I teach gentle yoga classes that focus on safety, proper body alignment, mindfulness and learning to trust yourself- even if you are new to yoga. I started my journey to yoga over 13 years ago, after my cancer diagnosis and since that time I’ve taught yoga to my students, family and other cancer survivors. My approach to teaching integrates Kripalu Yoga- teaching compassion, with the mindfulness of meditation, and the awareness of nutrition, blended with personal training, and lifestyle coaching. I will help you feel healthy, happy, and connected while making it all purposeful, grounded and fun!

I offer yoga and meditation classes, beach yogaYogaWalks, and cancer retreats. I have been featured doing yoga on Good Morning America and featured in People Magazine as a National Teacher of the Year.

When I’m not helping people discover the magic of yoga, you can find me actively involved in my local community. I’m passionate about helping cancer patients get to and from their appointments and helping them navigate through their journey.  I am a patient advocate and work with several National organizations in areas of legislation, research and therapeutics. I was awarded the 2019 Grassroots Advocacy Award by the National Breast Cancer Coalition.

My secret and occasional indulgences are traveling, exploring new places and reading a good novel.

I’m so looking forward to connecting with you and sharing the gifts of yoga and mindfulness!

Some of the Major Benefits of Yoga:

·      Increased physical stamina so you feel more flexible, less sore, have better posture and are stronger in your body

·      Meditation and breath work exercises that allow you to stay calm and peaceful, even in agitated situations

·      Regular activity that includes physical exercise, mental engagement, and spiritual relaxation

Things to consider for our Yoga class together: Eat a light, healthy lunch the day of class, drink plenty of water throughout the day, if you have blocks or books have them handy, have a strap or scarf close by also. We will also do some chair poses so please have a chair and, of course, your mat.

    • Endurance and Entrepreneurial Mindset
    • How to set Goals that really matter
    • Meditation
    • and many more.
  • I’m Bruce Van Horn and I’m enthusiastic about what I do!Simply stated, I use words to positively change the world!I am a writer, speaker, teacher, and coach whose mission in life is to reach, teach, and empower people to live intentionally as the fullest expression of who they were created to be.What I discovered about myself, and now help others learn about themselves, is we are not living to our fullest potential because of the story we have been narrating in our minds about ourselves, others, and the world in which we live. Most people are telling a story that does not empower them,  nor does it inspire others.By restorying (yes, that’s a word-play on “restoring”) enthusiasm, purpose, and vision, I help individuals and businesses remove the layers of limiting beliefs, negative messages, and counter-productive behaviors, and replace them with a new mindset that unleashes their true power that has been seeking greater expression in the world. When you create a clear vision and intentionally live your life based on what makes you come alive, you positively influence everyone around you!Through my books, podcast, speaking, and coaching, I have helped thousands of people restory their lives. I believe I can help you, your business or ministry, start living as the fullest expression of what you were created to be.
