Tigerlily Foundation’s Peer Education Through Awareness and Leadership (PETALs) © Program is our flagship educational program, focusing on educating young women about their breast health. Our goal is to ensure that young women 1) Learn the facts; 2) Know their bodies; 3) Speak up for their health and 4) Embrace Support.
The PETALS © Program focused on educating young women ages 14 – 18 about their bodies. Using age-appropriate modules, we educate young women about their breast health, teach them how to conduct breast self-examinations, and give them information on prevention, wellness, and body care that will empower them to live healthier lives.
