Kristin Holman Olson

Kristin Holman Olson, JD Senior Director of Patient Advocacy, Seagen Inc. 

Kristin is the Senior Director of Patient Advocacy for Seagen Inc., a global biotechnology company that develops transformative therapies targeting cancer to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.  With over two decades of experience in advocacy and government affairs, Kristin is responsible for incorporating the patient experience into all aspects of planning and execution at Seagen, while cultivating long-term partnerships between the company and the oncology patient advocacy community.   Reflective of the dynamic nature of the biotech industry, Kristin’s advocacy experience spans biopharma companies of many shapes and sizes, including Medivation (now Pfizer), Onyx (now Amgen) and Genentech/Roche.  Kristin also has broad experience in health policy, having begun her career on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Fellow and Legislative Director for two Members in the U.S. House of Representatives, and having served as Director of Government Affairs at the Interstitial Cystitis Association.  She also held government affairs roles at Johnson & Johnson and Genentech.  Kristin attended Mount Holyoke College and received her J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law.  She is a member of the California Bar Association.
