›› PETALs Trainer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tigerlily Foundation’s Peer Education Through Awareness and Leadership (PETALs) Trainers will facilitate workshops in order to educate young women ages 15-40 about their breast health.  PETALs Trainers will need to possess communications skills and compassion.  This is a volunteer position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PETALs Trainers will be responsible for delivering Tigerlily’s PETALs seminars at health fairs, corporations, to faith-based groups, schools, etc.
  • Will engaged in training to ensure dissemination of materials effectively.
  • Mentor new trainees to ensure growth and development.
  • Provide input to program manager so that program is continuously enhanced.
  • Provide feedback to PETALs Program Manager after each session.
  • Engage participants and seek opportunities to grow program.
  • Distribute information on prevention, wellness and body care
