Dr. Michael Schultz is the Director of the Breast Center, at the Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. The St. Joseph Medical Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to research, diagnosis and treatment, and is the only community hospital in the state of Maryland to be selected as a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated community cancer center. The St. Joseph Medical Center’s cancer program allows patients to receive the highest level of cancer care without having to leave their communities, and offers patients the latest advances in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment at a convenient suburban location.
Dr. Schultz has a Doctor of Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.), Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey. His professional memberships include the following: Fellow, American College of Surgeons; Society of Breast Surgeons; Baltimore City Medical Society; Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland (MEDCHI); Society of American Gastrointestinal-Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES); Society of Abdominal Surgeons; Baltimore Academy of Surgeons; Society of Laparo-Endoscopic Surgeons; American Medical Association; Baltimore Ostomy Society; American Society of General Surgeons; American Society of Breast Disease. Dr. Schultz has also been named one of Baltimore’s Top Docs in 2007 and 2008 by Baltimore Magazine.
