Joke Lawal: When I first contacted Tigerlily, I was beginning chemo and didn't know that life could be normal again.  Now, I see that it can be better than before. I'm so thankful that I found Tigerlily Foundation and for all that you do.

Kristina Hernandez: I remember the moment I found the Tigerlily Foundation website and saw the faces of all the other young women, who'd had breast cancer and survived. It was such a relief.  Everyone I talked to kept saying I would be okay, but I didn't know there were young women like me, who had survived and were okay after breast cancer and were back to normal life.   It made me realize that I could do this too.  I read through the website and I knew that I was not alone.  I'm so thankful for Tigerlily and for meeting Maimah.

Angela Peabody: I met Maimah during the time when she was receiving chemo treatment.  I found her to be very strong-willed with a determination to live.  Maimah told me something that has stayed with me since our first conversation.  She told me that she had promised God that if she survived, she would spend the rest of her life helping other women so that they would not have to endure the same.  Maimah has spent every day of her life since, helping women.  Tigerlily is that companion that everyone should have.  I am proud to serve on the Advisory Board of Tigerlily Foundation.

Margo  Schlossberg: I just want to say that the positive energy and people that Tigerlily attracted to its recent Divine Inspired Vivacious Aware (DIVA) night out really impacted me.  I can honestly say that my mood was elevated after being surrounded by such positive energy and I left with a can-do attitude and ready to go tackle the world.  Thank you so much.

Mali Phonpadith: Through my friendship with Maimah and participating in some of Tigerlily's event, I have come to have an even deeper appreciation for the work that takes place every day for young women with breast cancer.  I have personally supported two dear friends in the last three years as they walked their journey with cancer and I value how important the mission of Tigerlily is for women.  I am delighted to support this invaluable cause.

The one thing I cannot do, however, is know what she went through. It is one thing for her brother to tell her that she is loved, but it is even more important when a breast cancer survivor takes her to her treatment, holds her close and tells her that she will make it through this.
