My name is Justina Colon. I am a single mom of a beautiful and very smart 8 year daughter named Esperanza. I also live with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I was originally diagnosed stage 1 invasive ducal carcinoma in October of 2002. I had surgeries, I did chemotherapy, radiation and tamoxafin.  On June 13, 2005....my daughters 6th birthday, I found out that the cancer had come back and was throughout my skeletal system. In August of 2007, after more surgeries and changing of my medications...the cancer was found to have now spread to my liver. I am having to do chemotherapy again; this time, it's indefinite.
