Table Captains

We would love to have you as a Table Captain at Tigerlily Foundation’s 4th Annual EmPOWER Ball. Your support helps us raise more funds and increases our visibility in the community. To be a Table Captain, send us an email at empower2012@tigerlilyfoundation.org. Invite 10 friends to join you at this inspiring and educational event. Your guests can buy tickets here. Make sure they list you as their Table Captain. As Table Captain, we encourage you to help us raise an additional $3500. You can do this via creating fundraising pages here and by asking your guests to donate and ask them to send the page to their friends to donate. The five top fundraisers for the EmPOWER Ball will be recognized at the event, and receive a special gift; and the top fundraiser will become our EmPOWER Ambassador for 2013!

Mid-Week Get-A-Way to Historic Middleburg, Virginia
One night stay at Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast Inn, a historic property on 47 rolling acres with majestic mountain views in Middleburg – the heart of Virginia Wine and Horse Country courtesy of Henrietta Buell, Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast. This will include lunch for two at the French Hound Restaurant, $100 towards Dinner at the Red Fox Inn and wine tasting for four people, at the Chrysalis Vineyards.

Tigerlily Auction Hero:
A. Funds for Families: $50,000 (Paying Medical Costs, Bills, Mortgages, Car Payments, and Utilities)
Funds for Families - This program gives financial assistance to families based on their need. Tigerlily pays for co-payments, prescriptions, utilities, rent, mortgage payments, and more.

B. Buddy Bags: $25,000 (250 Newly Diagnosed Women During Chemotheraphy Treatment)
Buddy Bag Program – This program provides newly diagnosed women with a Survivor Bag, which includes aromatherapy products, a soft blanket, scarves, gratitude rock, Breast Cancer Survivor Journey Planner, Chicken Soup for the Breast Cancer Survivor’s Soul book, organic soap and lotion, a Tigerlily bracelet and other products that help them to cope and heal emotionally through treatment. This is a great way to support a young woman as she begins the fight of her life, empowering her with strength and love.

C. PETALS: $15,000 (500 Young Women Will Be Educated Through Out the DC Metropolitan Area)
Tigerlily Foundation Peer Education Through Awareness and Leadership (PETALs) Program – Tigerlily Foundation’s PETALS program provides younger women with breast health education and support. The goal of this program is to provide them with lifesaving information about their breast and body health. Tigerlily believes that if we educate young women about breast health early, they become aware of their body’s landscape.  Through your support, we can create more PETALS packets and engage dedicated volunteers to help us start more chapters in various schools. We hope to lower the number of young women being diagnosed under 40 and dying of breast cancer at a young age.

D. Meals: $12,500 (Will Feed 100 Women for a Week)
Working with Lets Dish! a local meal provider, this program delivers healthy meals to young women at home, during their treatment.

Silent Auction

Thanks for your interest in donating an item to the Tigerlily Foundation EmPOWER Ball Ball Silent Auction. Donating to our silent auction helps to ensure money will be raised for our sustainability and programs, and also provides a marketing and exposure to more than 5,000 individuals at our event, through pre-event and post event publicity.
